Who wrote the Quran? Islamic teachings say that the sacred text was the product of divine revelation, not a human work. Written in Arabic, their original language was not changed or misrepresented since. By M. Fethullah Gulen
As there is abundant literature on the subject, I will limit my response to the relevant items. This assertion has been made by opponents of the Prophet Muhammad, as stated in the Qur'an: When Our revelations, and clear evidence in meaning are recited (and transmitted) to them, those who disbelieve say about the truth when it reaches them: "This is evident magic." Or do they say, "He (the Messenger) has invented? (46:7-8).
were furious at having to protect their interests against the rising tide of Islam, as do their modern counterparts, in order to cast doubt on the divine authority of Quran, so that Muslims also have doubts about his authority.
The Quran was revealed in Arabic, its original language which is also a living language and continues talking. Its full text is authoritative. Has not changed, edited or has been misrepresented from was revealed.
All Muslims had only the Quran is preserved in its original words from the death of the Prophet, peace be upon him, when he finished Revelation. Moreover, Muslims have the teaching of the Prophet in the Sunnah, Islamic implementation in everyday life. Many, but not all, of the exact words and actions of the Prophet were preserved in the literature of the Hadith (the sayings of the Prophet). These two sources could not be more different in quality or content of expression. In the hadith can sense the presence of a personality that leads to the other, which reflects on the transcendent issues and speaking with appropriate gravity and deep respect. Moreover, the Qur'an is seen as imperative and lifted immediately, with a transcendent majesty and unparalleled in style and content. To say that the Koran and the Hadith have the same origin is defying reason and feeling.
The Quran is quite different to any other human being in the importance of his perspective and point of view. Occasionally, in some passages or phrases from other Scriptures, readers and listeners may feel they are directed to the Divine Message to humanity. In the Qur'an, every syllable carries the impression of sublime intensity, which belongs to a message from the One Who is Omniscient, Most Merciful.
Furthermore, the Qur'an can not be examined externally, or be debated or discussed on a purely theoretical. Asks us to understand, act accordingly and amend our ways of life. It guides us throughout our reality as being spiritually and physically capable, as creatures of the Merciful. The Koran does not address a single faculty of the human being as philosophical discourse, poetic or artistic sensibility, our capacity to change and manage our environment and legal or political issues, our need for compassion and forgiveness, and desire spiritual knowledge and comfort. The Koran is addressed to everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, place or time.
If a man wrote the Koran, how could literally know the issues that were unknown at the time of its revelation? "Do not believe those who never consider that the heavens and the earth were at first a whole and then divided them into separate identities and we have created every living thing of water?". (21:30). Only a few years ago we could understand that this verse speaks of the first moment of creation of the universe in its literal sense.
A man in the seventh century, how could I know the things that science has discovered recently? Is it a reasonable assertion? How could he know the Profeta, con una exactitud anatómica y biológica, cómo se forma la leche? ¿Cómo pudo saber cómo se forman las nubes y el granizo, o establecer la capacidad de fertilizar del viento, o explicar cómo se mueven las masas continentales y cómo se forman y conforman los continentes? ¿Con qué telescopio pudo saber la continua expansión física del Universo? ¿Con qué rayos X pudo conocer los diversos estados del embrión en el útero? Afirmar que un hombre escribió el Corán sólo refleja el fracaso de no entender que todos los seres humanos están en deuda con Dios, quien nos ha dado todo. No nos hemos creado a nosotros mismos; nuestras vidas nos han sido dadas, como nuestras capacidades to see, understand and feel compassion. This subtle world, diverse and renewable has been given to us to exercise these capabilities. Furthermore, the Qur'an is a gift of mercy and there is no possibility that its author is a human.
