this presentation entitled "8 Reasons to build social networks as a journalist, with some evidence as convincing as the following:

- 600 million users on Facebook.
- Each user spent an average of 15 hours and 33 minutes on Facebook in a month.
- 152 million blogs.
- 85 million users on LinkedIn.
- Foursquare has 6 and a half million users.
- 200 million users in Twitter.
- 61% of journalists use the Wikipedia.
